Dear Parents/Carers

NUT Strike Action, Thursday 3rd Wednesday 9th and Tuesday 15th July 2008

Further to my letter of 11 June.  I am writing to you again following a ballot, members of the National Union of Teachers at the school have decided to take further strike action on Thursday 3rd Wednesday 9th and Tuesday 15th July.  I have therefore once again no choice but to close the school to students for the above three days on health and safety grounds.  The school will remain open for staff, who will be expected to report for duty as usual.

Please note, as a result of the strike action the Year 10 Parents’ Evening will now take place on Tuesday 8th July.

As mentioned in previous letters I am very sorry for the disruption to the education of our students.

Thank you for your patience and co-operation.

With best wishes,

Yours sincerely,

Jo Shuter
Headteacher

Pimlico's first Year 7 magazine is now available!

A talented group of year 7s have created the first issue of 'The Pips'. Filled with such delights as reviews, news reports and cookie recipes it is a must for all parents, teachers and students. 'The Pips' is an environmentally friendly magazine and is therefore produced as a pdf rather than in paper form. We hope you enjoy it and will consider contributing to it in the future.
